Available year-round in the cities of which they come from and once a year in diptyque boutiques, this collection is available exclusively at Senteurs d'Ailleurs from April 21!
As an invitation to travel the world, the exclusive collection of scented Cities Candles makes travel from New York to Pekin through Paris. An exclusive collection and as many singular universes that are revealed on its map of the imaginary world.
The collection is made up of ten candles with olfactory landscapes and unique graphics, imagined by diptyque to celebrate these beloved cities.
Pekin - New 2022
The Pekin candle is an homage to this ancient city, its architecture and history, with an elegant and mysterious floral woody accord, lifted by the aromatic notes of green tea. Its design evokes the majesty of imperial temple roots and the magnificent magnolias blossoming at the Dajue Temple. From an ancient red backgroung springs a golden dragon, a symbol of emperors, reminiscent of the slender winding Great Wall of China.
Berlin
The scents of the Berlin candle transport to the German capital's most prestigious avenue, surrounded by the heady scent of blossoming linden trees, a powerful perfume with light honey accents. Its arty and colourful design, a reflection of Berlin's urban spirit, highlights the silhouette of the Brandenburg Gate, the city's emblem erected in the 18th century at the entrance to former Berlin.
Shangai
The scent of the Shanghai candle is closely linked to a Chinese tradition: deliciously perfumed osmanthus flowers complemented with notes of green tea like a homage to the tea ceremony. The glass comes in a symbolic color range: the deep red of Chinese lacquer is decorated with blue porcelain foliage. It is displayed in a box designed as an ode to the beauty and refinement of Huxinting, Shanghai's oldest tea house.
Tokyo
The aroma of the Tokyo candle revives the fond memory of a stroll along alleyways in the shade of Japanese cypress trees where a temple diffuses notes of soothing incense. Inspired by the inimitable art of Japanese gardens, its decoration evokes the harmony and serenity of Tokyo's Yoyogi Koen and Shinjuku Gyoen parks.
Hong Kong
The Hong Kong candle is an ode to nature expressed through notes built around the famous Bauhinia Blakeana, accented with a floral-vanilla accord. Decorated with a colourful graphic pattern, the candle is inspired by the city's urban density. The climbing orchid dresses the city with vertiginous architecture, flowers and foliage.
Paris
The Paris candle takes you to the heart of Saint Germain, an emblematic district of Parisian chic; a mysterious chypre accord accentuated with a hint of lavender. With ornate decoration revealing the capital as seen from the sky, the pattern pays homage to the iconic city of light. A gradient of blue and gray, illuminated with touches of pink, symbolizing the light of the setting sun reflecting on the Seine.
Londres

The colorful design brings a touch of psychedelism all right from the west coast, and pays tribute to the famous Martinique wallpaper, iconic model of Beverly Hills Hotel.
